ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Sam Davison, and I'm a professional colourist.

I grew up in Sydney until the age of 8, then travelled around Australia for a year with my family. Early on in this trip, I picked up Mum's camcorder, and instantly fell in love with the art of movie-making. We eventually settled down in Port Macquarie, where I continued to make award-winning short films all the way through high school. In 2022 I returned to Sydney and studied a Bachelor of Media (Screen and Sound Production) / Arts for 1 year at UNSW, before quickly jumping on the board the amazing team at Skyline Creative.

As the Senior Video Editor for two years, I discovered my passion for colour grading and the profound impact it has on shaping the emotion of a story. I realised that this was the perfect way to blend my love for film and art into something meaningful—helping others bring their stories to life and sharing their vision with the world.
